Don’t outsource the problem

The arguments on ‘The big Question’ this morning were excellent. Amazing how well things were put especially about povery. A Billionnaire could write each person in the USA a cheque for $3.000 and still be extremely rich.

So there are those who say that the poor, we don’t get paid enough, should also organise into Unions and do industrial action and strike to get higher wages.

It’s not working that strategy, as this will only villify the workers and not make employers pay higher wages. This vicar who then said, that asking workders to strike on top of working is outsourcing the problem hit the nail on the spot.

Interrupting lives with strikes and protests simply makes the lives of the poor even harder, it doesn’t affect the mega rich, who can live on their interest, unless interest turns into negative. That is one reason why I oppose the Extinction Rebellion activities. Those are paid for by mega rich people who can sit back and relax in their country manners, whilst people in cities, miss out on going to work.

It’s those big company owners who should pay more wages. What instead is being done, wages still get subsidised, allowing people to rely on food banks and benefits whilst raking in the money. Of course some wealth gets paid to shareholders but the majority goes into private coffers.

It’s obviously a matter of legislation rather than anything else.
