Today is all full of climate change and how we need to lower our carbon foot print. Yet, China re-opens coal mines, which cause a lot of carbon foot print.

Shouldn’t there be an international law that it is not allowed to re-open coal mines. So far it’s all talk the changes we are supposed to be making.

Whilst Greeks put out the fires, they already dream of tourist planes filling the sky, regardless of the type of fuel they are using.

As it happens, armies happily intervene when human life is at threat by genocides but they do not intervene when a country uses coal mines again or cuts down all of their rain forest.

Obviously environmental endangerment should be a crime against humanity.

It’s laughable that we lament about climate change, plant trees in our own small nation but then give all the industrial contracts to China, which has no choice but to re-open coalmines to fulfil them.
