As editor of this blog I accept full responsibility for contributions therein. All postings by me are solely my personal view.

I shall check the contents of this blog so that it does not contain contributions that could be Defamatory of others or have any criminal content. I shall endeavour to run this blog in compliance with ECHR article 10 and also respect other’s privacy. Other users may be able to post contributions as articles on this blog and I shall seek to scan those for content and also remind those who contribute to the blog that they need to keep to the standards as set out below.

In case of complaint please notify me immediately and I shall remove any offending article and publish an apology and allow you a right of reply in one of the pages of this site.

However if I have evidence that my contribution is fair comment or otherwise justifiable as a matter of public interest or law, I shall reserve the right not to comply to a request of removal and/or correction.

I also endeavour to keep to the standards that were set by the press complaints commission, which says:

The Press Complaints Commission has adopted a code of conductwhich is regularly reviewed and amended as required. Paragraph 1 of the current Code of Conduct reads as follows:

 

 

 

1. Accuracyi) The Press must take care not to publish inaccurate, misleading or distorted information, including pictures.

ii) A significant inaccuracy, misleading statement or distortion once recognised must be corrected, promptly and with due prominence, and – where appropriate – an apology published.

iii) The Press, whilst free to be partisan, must distinguish clearly between comment, conjecture and fact.

iv) A publication must report fairly and accurately the outcome of an action for defamation to which it has been a party, unless an agreed settlement states otherwise, or an agreed statement is published.”
